Irene creates what goes in the frames as well… working from the home studio allows her to paint when she is not framing. Her work has been sold to private collectors locally and abroad, universities and government departments.
Irene's inspiration often comes from her immediate surrounds; her home and the bush land at her back door. She seeks beauty in the details of everyday familiar items in her home and garden, endeavouring to capture the warm feelings of comfort and nostalgia they embody.
